Midland Woman Arrested for Bank Larceny

On 06/15/2006, Maria L. Guzman, age 32, of Midland, Texas, was arrested under the authority of a federal arrest warrant. The warrant was based upon a complaint which charged Guzman with bank larceny in violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 657. This offense carries a maximum penalty of thirty years imprisonment.

Guzman’s arrest arose out of an investigation by the FBI and the Midland Police Department into a reported robbery of the Complex Community Federal Credit Union, 3200 Andrews Highway, Midland, Texas.

The charge brought against Guzman is merely an accusation. She should be presumed to be innocent.
