Second Bank Robber Caught

LUIS F. AGUIRRE was arrested Wednesday night, February 14, 2007, for committing El Paso’s second bank robbery of 2007, according to FBI Special Agent in Charge Manuel E. Mora.

Aguirre, of the 5100 block of Blue Ridge in El Paso, Texas, was arrested by the El Paso Police Department and the FBI. He was taken into custody in North Central El Paso.

Aguirre was arrested on one charge of federal bank robbery for the February 12, 2007, robbery of the Bank of America branch at Transmountain, El Paso, Texas. Aguirre will have his Initial Appearance in federal court on February 16, 2007.
