FBI Press Conference scheduled for Monday

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) will host a press conference Monday, November 19, 2007, at 2 pm to announce a new partnership to distribute child identification kits to the El Paso community.

The FBI has worked with the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) for many years in the Child ID Program. This year, the AFCA and the El Paso FBI will add a new community partner, Western Refining.

The distribution of over 100,000 child identification kits in El Paso will be the fourth largest, single ID kit distribution in Texas and the 10th largest in the United States. The kits will go to all K-7th grade children in the El Paso community. The initiative will include all El Paso school districts.

The FBI will be joined Monday by representatives of the AFCA, El Paso Police and Sheriff's Departments, the Mayor's Office, the various school districts and our new community partner.

The press conference will be held on the first floor of the FBI office, 660 South Mesa Hills, El Paso, Texas. Please come early enough to get through security.
